  • Clinic and Pharmacy Closed August 11-15, 2014

    The clinic and pharmacy will be closed August 11-15, 2014, so students enrolled for summer are encouraged to come in tomorrow for medical services.  Administrative areas, including appointments, billing and medical records, as well as the Meadows Center for Health Resources will be open August 11-14, 2014 from 8am-12pm and 1-5pm to assist students between semesters.

  • Meningitis Vaccination Clinic Will Be Held on August 14

    The Student Health and Wellness Center will be holding a Meningitis Vaccination Clinic from 1-4:30pm on August 14, 2014. This will be the final date to receive a meningitis vaccination by the August 15 deadline for the Fall semester.

  • Nurse Call Line is Changing for Fall 2014

    The after hours nurse call line number is now 800-556-1555.

    "The after hours nurse call number is a service provided to all students by the carrier of the University endorsed student insurance policy," Dana Sachs, Director of Administration for the Student Health and Wellness Center, explained. "Since the carrier for the student insurance carrier is changing to Aetna Student Health, the nurse call number has to change as well."

  • Aetna Student Health Insurance – Your New Student Insurance Plan

    The University of North Texas system is working with Aetna Student Health to offer a student-focused health insurance plan that helps protect students at school, at home, and while traveling or studying abroad.

    All international students are automatically enrolled in the UNT Student Health Insurance Plan.  Graduate students or undergraduates may enroll on a voluntary basis. The covered students spouse and dependent children under 26 may enroll on a voluntary basis.
